Digital diagnostic mammography unit "LYBID"

Diagnostic mammography unit “LYBID” is designed for full-scale diagnostic and screening tests, conducted in the hospitals. Compact and ergonomic device is characterized by high reliability and simplicity in use. Mammography unit provides a low dose of radiation and, at the same time, high resolution, ensuring high-quality mammogram exposure, necessary for accurate and effective diagnostics. The device can disclose a tumor of 0.5 mm, fibrous glandular tissue of 0.75 mm and microcalcifications of 0,332 mm (measurements were carried out using the Mammographic Accreditation Phantom Gammex 156).

Digital receiver with spatial resolution from 7 to 14 line pairs per mm is used in the unit. 

Diagnostic mammography unit “LYBID” is equipped with modern high-frequency power unit of 30 kHz, which allows to reduce voltage fluctuations on X-ray tube, which in its turn prolongs the operation life of the device and improves accuracy of anode voltage up to 20%. Generator is integrated into the diagnostic mammography unit and doesn’t require a separate space for installation.

Diagnostic mammography unit “LYBID” software complies with international medical standard protocol “DІСОМ-3.0” requirements.

Modern digital technologies enables to maintain patients’ database, quickly analyze and process the exposure images, print mammograms and examination reports, archive images on DVD-disk and have an access to international telecommunication networks.
